Full Moon in Aquarius (Lunar Eclipse)

Hold on tight… but not too tight because on August 7, 2017, at 6:10 pm we will be experiencing the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse 15 degrees in Aquarius.

Lunar Eclipses tends to intensify life lessons because it’s been a long time coming, I suppose. It’s been building up to this moment just for the breakthrough, especially for us Americans. The Lunar Eclipse will take place right above the state of Oregon and over 10 million people are planning to go see it. Talk about intense! That’s a lot of resources being used to travel to go see this Cosmic event.

The Moon being Full in Aquarius means it is time to commit to a path that will serve you and others in the best way that you can.

Using Aquarius’ motto, “How may I serve you?” will be beneficial for you to practice in your everyday life. Now that we are in the Aquarian Age, we are learning how to best use our abilities in a way that will advance our communities and be beneficial, but not to the point of losing our sense of self. It allows us to experience a new way of seeing ourselves as special and to use that gift everyday to make life a breath of fresh air and a driving force for others to live in their best expression. How can you make an environment that allows others to express their best self?

While the moon is full in Aquarius, there’s a significant amount of uprooting taking place and shifting of mental foundations because we are being pushed towards healing. Tides are rising, humidity is rising, emotions are rising, shadows are rising… you get my point. If you are experiencing intense emotions and suddenly feel that you need to make a change and it needs to happen now, take heed. Do your best to use the light of your intelligence and figure out why you have this sudden need to change, let go of relationships, career, housing situation, or sense of self. What is the meaning? I also advise to wait till after the Lunar Eclipse has passed to make a sudden decision. Let your emotions settle first before you get ahead of yourself.

Act towards healing, not just to react.

Personally, I’ve been dealing with a lot of depression because I am seeing there is a flaw in my definition of what a relationship is. I realize, growing up, I haven’t had a holistic example of what a relationship is for my personal needs and feel that I don’t have the tools to figure it out just yet. Because of this, I have this underlying urge to flee, destroy, or sulk. Of course, I won’t let myself destroy the very thing I care about. Instead, I cry and look for support. Any kind of support to get me out of my hell hole. This week of lunar eclipse has been real, you guys! However, it has taught me that reaching out for help and helping others in return is the best medicine there is when stuck in a conundrum. Of course, it’s not easy, especially when you deal with depression and anxiety at the same time, but honest to God/dess there is someone near you or on your social media that understands what you are going through. I experienced it recently and feel very blessed to have the support that I do when I am vulnerable.

So let’s get into some of the general aspects of what might be happening to you…

The Aspects
During the LE Full Moon in Aquarius, the Moon will be in a hard aspect with Saturn 21 degrees retrograde in Sagittarius, opposition with Mars 11 degrees in Leo, hard aspect with Chiron 28 degrees retrograde in Pisces, and harmonious aspect with Jupiter 17 degrees in Libra. So what does this all mean? Our emotions, symbolized by the moon, will be tied up with our sense of duty and sacrifice to get what we want in terms of our belief systems (Saturn in Sagittarius). Because the hard aspect is in a semi-square, there may be some blockages taking place and emotions may be heavy as lead because of the density and intensity of the karmic lesson that Saturn is now uprooting through the Moon’s potent light.

Saturn’s words are: you must learn what your duty is so that you may not suffer longer. You must understand that you have a choice: it’s either to learn or suffer more until you learn. There’s no easy way out of it. So what is your duty? What is your sacrifice so that you can be a master to your community and serve?

The Moon’s opposition to Mars may cause an extreme emotional action that is spawned from the need to be seen or have a sense of self. I see this as an aggressive energy emerging from you and being misplaced if acted out. There’s an opportunity to integrate your ability to act out of intuition instead of instinct (old patterns that may no longer serve). Question your motives!

The Moon’s hard aspect to Chiron is a semi-square, like Saturn, revealing that reacting to an old situation out of instinct will trigger old wounds, and there will be physical manifestations of blockages so that you can learn from this wound by spending time alone.

May you activate an undying drive to get through this and learn that this ‘acting out’ is no longer serving you; there is a need to make Holy. Bring healing to yourself and call out to your ability to say yes to healing and being dedicated. Through self-reflection, you have the ability to go through this and become a self-proclaimed master and serve others through your actions and teachings.

…how to deal?  
With the harmonious aspect the Moon gives to Jupiter, I see that optimistic thinking has a way to reach toward the heavens and commune with your higher Self, you can then get through your old emotional wounds and find the key that unlocks the door to your new path. There may not be tangible results to your optimistic thinking just yet, but know it is to come because the Law of Correspondence, promising results from shifting your inner mindset.

(Article)  It was a time to tune into your inner child and figure out what parts of yourself was not being seen for who you truly were at that moment. Now that the Moon is full in Aquarius, it is time to reflect and share those parts of yourself that may have been hidden, and make it so that it is in service to others by mastering your gift through setting an example.

Your service may be as simple as creating space for your friends to be honest with themselves by putting down their front for a little while.
